BNY Mellon Appointed by Mirae Asset Daewoo to Service International Issue of the First-of-its-Kind Sustainability Bond in Korea

BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and investment services, has been appointed Fiscal Agent, Transfer Agent, Registrar and Common Depositary on a unique sustainability bond issuance by Mirae Asset Daewoo, the largest securities broker in Korea.

The milestone US $300 million senior sustainability bonds represent the first sustainability bonds from this sector in Korea. Proceeds from the bonds will be used to fund or refinance new and existing projects that align with the International Capital Markets Association’s Sustainability Bond Principles.
