The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (“BNY”), the global financial services firm, announced today that Steve James will join the firm as Global Head of Marketing and Communications, effective August 19.
He will report to Jayee Koffey, Head of Enterprise Execution and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at BNY.
“Steve’s significant experience in driving impactful integrated marketing and communications campaigns will be highly valuable as we seek to be more for our clients, run our company better and power our culture,” said Ms. Koffey.
Steve joins BNY from Fannie Mae, where he served as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Steve held positions at TIAA, Capital One and Toyota. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
