BNY Mellon has appointed Magda Palczynska as Global Head of Investor Relations. Magda, who joins the company on March 4, 2019, will report to Scott Freidenrich, the company’s Global Treasurer.
“Magda has an excellent record of coordinating effective investor and analyst outreach for a large global financial institution and providing the level of transparency that the investor community expects,” Scott Freidenrich, Global Treasurer, said.

“As we work to build the underlying franchise to drive higher levels of organic growth, Magda will help investors better understand our strategy and shareholder return potential. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team,” Mike Santomassimo, Chief Financial Officer, said.
Magda has served in a variety of senior investor relations and finance roles in Hong Kong, Singapore, London and New York during nearly two decades at UBS, most recently as Head of North America and Asia Pacific Investor Relations and Global Head of Debt Investor Relations. She was previously a senior executive at a private equity-owned start-up in the luxury sector.
Magda was educated in the UK, Canada and Germany and began her career in corporate finance roles in London and Frankfurt.
