Emily Portney has been appointed CEO of Asset Servicing, BNY Mellon’s largest business, effective Feb. 1, 2023. As the CEO of Asset Servicing, she will run all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on continuing to accelerate the growth of our client franchise and optimizing profitability. She will report to Roman Regelman, CEO of Securities Services and Digital and continue as a member of the Executive Committee.
Ms. Portney will also lead the company's client commercialization efforts, responsible for driving improved commercial margin outcomes across the company. She will report directly to BNY Mellon CEO Robin Vince in this capacity.
Ms. Portney will continue to serve as BNY Mellon’s Chief Financial Officer through January. Previously, she led the global client management, sales and service delivery teams for Asset Servicing and oversaw the Americas region of the business.
