BNY Mellon announced today that Alejandro Perez will take on an expanded role with oversight responsibility for Operations, adding to his responsibilities as Chief Administrative Officer. He will also join the Executive Committee. Bridget Engle will continue to lead Technology, which will be renamed to Engineering, recognizing the nature of the function’s important role in developing solutions and products that deliver on the needs of our clients and drive our company forward.

Ms. Engle has been at BNY Mellon since 2017. She has a track record for driving innovation and digital transformation in the financial services market. Mr. Perez joined BNY Mellon in 2021. At the firm and in previous roles at Unqork, Bloomberg and Goldman Sachs, he established a strong record of building and operating businesses while driving efficiency and execution.
