BNY Marks Key Milestones in Asia Pacific

June was a significant month at BNY as we came together across regions to celebrate our shared history. We not only honored the legacy of our founder, Alexander Hamilton, but also celebrated significant milestones across the Asia Pacific region, a key region for where BNY continues to innovate, support our clients and lead the way in the financial services industry.

In Hong Kong, Hani Kablawi, Head of International, attended a symbolic Gong-Striking Ceremony with employees and clients at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. "Part of the DNA of BNY are the bridges that we build, the connections we make, the enablement of financial markets infrastructure and the wealth creation and preservation that we enable, and all of that we do with and for our clients,” he explained.

In Singapore, BNY celebrated 50 years of growth in the region at the National Gallery where Fangfang Chen, Head of Asia Pacific, highlighted our commitment to continued innovation for clients. “Singapore is one of the global financial services hubs known for its vibrant financial ecosystem and we are so proud to have a presence here for the last 50 years," said Chen. "From supporting client trading and liquidity desks to opening our Global Innovation Center, we continue to develop solutions for a wide range of clients in Singapore and the broader region.”
