Laide is the Global Head of Markets at BNY and a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic direction and global implementation of innovative client solutions across the firm’s Execution Services, Liquidity Financing and Global Collateral businesses.

Previously, she was BNY’s Global Head of Liquidity, Financing and Global Collateral, where she oversaw the company’s cash investment across money markets, deposits and short-term investments, as well as the world’s largest securities lending program and largest triparty collateral manager.  

Laide is a seasoned financial professional with extensive industry experience. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, where she helps shape the governance and strategic direction of critical market infrastructure. For BNY’s Government Securities Services Corporation, she is a Board Member and President, influencing industry standards and market practices across custody, clearing, and collateral management.    

Prior to joining BNY, Laide spent over a decade in the industry where she held a variety of liquidity, financing and collateral leadership roles. She holds a first-class degree (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Queen Mary University, London.
