Rajashree Datta is Chief Risk Officer at BNY and is a member of the company’s Executive Committee. 

Prior to joining BNY in December 2024, Rajashree was with Goldman Sachs for 24 years where she was a Partner and Global Head of Finance Risk. During her time as a leader in Risk, she led significant aspects of the development of its approach to risk management with a demonstrated focus on ensuring judicious risk management in the context of business requirements, risk appetite and regulatory expectations. Over the course of her career, she also spent time as a leader in Corporate Treasury and began her career in Investment Banking.

Rajashree holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College.
