Cathinka Wahlstrom is the Chief Commercial Officer at BNY and a member of the Executive Committee. 

Cathinka leads the company’s Client Coverage, Client Service and Industry Segment teams globally, and works in close partnership with the company's business heads to maximize the impact of BNY’s client facing teams. Prior to joining BNY, Cathinka was President of Alight, a Blackstone portfolio company, where she was part of the leadership team that led the successful initial public offering of the company in July 2021. Cathinka built a 26-year career at Accenture, where she held several senior positions, including the Senior Managing Director of Financial Services role and member of the Global Management Committee, Accenture’s top governing body.

Cathinka is actively involved in many community and civic organizations including the Partnership for New York City, the New York City Ballet, the Robin Hood Foundation and NPower.
