Cathinka Wahlstrom is the Chief Commercial Officer at BNY and a member of the Executive Committee.

Cathinka leads the company’s Client Coverage & Country Management, Industry Segments, Client Service and Product Practice teams globally, working in close partnership with BNY’s business heads to maximize the impact of its client-facing teams. Prior to joining BNY, Cathinka was President of Alight, a Blackstone portfolio company, where she was part of the leadership team that led its successful initial public offering in July 2021.

Cathinka built a 26-year career at Accenture, where she held several senior positions, including serving as the Senior Managing Director of Financial Services and as a member of the Global Management Committee, Accenture’s top governing body.

Cathinka is actively involved in many community and civic organizations, including the Partnership for New York City, the New York City Ballet, the Robin Hood Foundation and NPower.
