About Us

In 1994, BNY established a physical presence in Ireland and has since continued to operate locally in Dublin, offering a comprehensive suite of platforms across asset servicing, investments, and global payments and trade.

By connecting with our global network, which provides services in more than 100 markets, we seamlessly integrate our platforms and solutions to help our Ireland clients conduct business and transact in markets around the world.

1994

Established BNY’s first office in Dublin, laying the foundation for its Ireland operations.

2004

Expanded capabilities in Ireland with Pershing Securities International commencing operations.

2007

Completed the Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Corporate merger, forming today’s BNY.

2009

Received approval from the Irish Financial Regulator to establish a licensed banking entity, enabling broader banking and investment services.

2019

Celebrated a quarter-century of continued BNY growth in Ireland.

2023

Established the Global Digital Research & Development Hub in Dublin to focus on innovation.

2024

Consolidated Dublin operations with a new headquarters on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay.
