通脹已從疫情後的高位回落，但背後的情況可能已發生顯著變化。在本報告中，我們認為通脹降溫進程已經停滯，而市場或許低估了全球正邁向一個結構性通脹較高的新環境。政策取向的變化、地緣政治格局轉變、人口結構演變，以及全球化逆轉等多項因素，正共同重塑通脹前景，並可能對投資組合帶來深遠影響。
通脹前景已經改變，投資組合需要作出調整
儘管許多投資者仍預期全球將重返過去十年的低通脹環境，但我們認為愈來愈多證據顯示，情況未必如此。通脹正穩定於各國央行目標之上，通脹預期似乎不再如以往般穩固，而即使價格壓力持續存在，政策制定者仍普遍傾向放寬政策。
更重要的是，全球宏觀環境正在演變。我們認為，有七項結構性力量，包括更積極的政策干預、地緣政治緊張局勢升溫、人口老化，以及全球化逆轉等，可能令通脹在未來較長時間內維持於較高水平，並且波動幅度高於許多市場參與者的預期。
如果通脹被證明將長期維持於較高水平，投資回報預期或需重新調整，不同市場之間的表現分化可能加劇，而主動管理通脹風險的重要性亦將進一步提升。
