Brian Riley serves as Global Head of BNY Wealth, responsible for setting strategy, driving growth, and elevating the client experience across the wealth platform.
A senior executive with more than two decades in the industry, Brian most recently led the Western U.S. at Rockefeller Capital Management, helping scale the private-equity-backed firm to well over $175 billion in assets. Prior to Rockefeller, he was Executive Vice President of Private Wealth Management at First Republic Bank, where he repositioned the business as a boutique investment firm for high-net-worth clients and nearly tripled assets under management in four years.

He ran the firm’s largest branch office, served as Regional Managing Director for the Private Bank serving ultra-high-net-worth clients, and oversaw West Coast operations for Corporate Services, Venture Services, and an Asian-focused wealth management unit.
Brian holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and an Advanced Management Degree from Harvard Business School.
