Sebastian Vismara

Sebastian Vismara is Head of Economic Research at the BNY Investment Institute, where he leads analysis on the global economy, financial markets, and their investment implications. Prior to this role, Sebastian spent several years at the Bank of England working on global macroeconomic analysis and financial market research. In his last role he provided macro and financial research for Governor Carney, in support of key international engagements at the IMF, G20, G7 and BIS.

Originally from Italy, Sebastian holds a postgraduate degree from the London School of Economics with a concentration in Finance, and an undergraduate degree in International Relations with Economics from the University of Florence.
