The Bank of New York Appoints Regional Senior Fiduciary Officer at Newly Opened Private Banking Office in Garden City

NEW YORK, May 2, 2007 -– The Bank of New York, a leader in wealth management, has appointed Robert J. Storti as vice president and regional senior fiduciary officer, responsible for financial, tax and estate administration and planning for high-net-worth individuals for the Long Island region of The Private Bank.

Mr. Storti joins The Bank of New York's Private Bank office at 1001 Franklin Avenue in Garden City, New York. The office, opened only six months ago and staffed by more than 25 wealth management professionals, provides a full range of investment, fiduciary and private banking services.

Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Storti held a similar role in the Garden City office of the United States Trust Company of New York. He received a B.S. from Bucknell University, an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law, and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. Mr. Storti is a member of the International Association of Certified Financial Planners, the New York Bankers Association Trust & Estate Administration Committee, the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County and the New York State Bar Association's Trust and Estate Law Section.
