The Bank of New York Appointed by ING as Global Custodian

LONDON, April 4, 2007 -- The Bank of New York, a global leader in securities servicing, has been appointed by Dutch pension fund Stichting Pensioenfonds ING as global custodian for a €2.2 billion fixed income portfolio.

Stichting Pensioenfonds ING has approximately €10 billion assets and the majority of the residual balance is invested in mutual funds, already custodized by The Bank of New York.
