"The Private Bank is an attractive business for us that we will grow through further investment in new offices, expanded wealth management offerings, and strategic marketing programs like our compelling ad campaign," said Bruce Van Saun, vice chairman of The Bank of New York. "We are gratified to have won this award, particularly since the campaign focuses on the experience and wisdom we have acquired and shared with our clients for more than 200 years, across many generations and changing economic times."
The campaign's television ad features a private banker preparing for a client meeting as he encounters his predecessors from the past 200 years to illustrate how insights gained from the past are applied to today's client relationships. The print ads spotlight the Bank's heritage with private bankers juxtaposed against historic backdrops to further demonstrate the Bank's long-term commitment and shared values with generations of clients.
The advertising campaign, which began in June of this year, is reaching prospective clients through a targeted mix of lifestyle, business and finance, arts and literature and regional publications, as well as on upscale broadcast programming.
