The Bank of New York Enhances BNY Investor Reporting Website

NEW YORK, October 18, 2004 - The Bank of New York, a global leader in securities servicing, has enhanced its BNY Investor Reporting website to better respond to the full range of reporting, inquiry and information delivery needs of its corporate trust clients, their investors, and third-party providers.

Based on an extensive study with clients and industry leaders, the enhancements have transformed the site into a sophisticated web-based information management solution.  The most notable enhancement is the introduction of "My Portfolio," a robust new customization tool for users to manage their investment information and reporting requirements.  The site’s major enhancements include:
