BNY Securities Group Names Karin Russell-Wiederkehr as Managing Director and Head of G-Port in London

LONDON, August 6, 2003 - The Bank of New York announced today that Karin Russell-Wiederkehr has joined BNY Securities Group as managing director and head of G-Port European sales, based in London. 

Providing global agency portfolio trading, with expertise in more than 80 markets worldwide, G-Port is part of BNY Securities Group and a division of BNY Securities Limited.

Before joining G-Port, Ms. Russell-Wiederkehr served as an executive director for sales and marketing at Morgan Stanley & Co. International in London.  In that role, she focused on Morgan Stanley’s transition business and portfolio products, with a particular emphasis on its program trading desk. She brings to G-Port extensive industry knowledge with more than 13 years experience in the international equity markets.  Ms. Russell-Wiederkehr received a bachelor’s degree in business and finance administration from The Business and Finance College in Switzerland.
